Aker becomes partner in Frigg operations
A contract was concluded with Aker in 1999 covering maintenance on Frigg during the final phase.
This Norwegian company had been a contractor on the field, and its personnel had worked there for a number of years. Many Elf personnel were transferred to Aker. This meant that they could be redeployed to other fields as staffing on Frigg declined.
